This personally identifiable information is used to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes and to send you a thank you note from Prone2Help and the healthcare workers that have requested the proning support cushions. The third-party vendor also collects credit card or account information in order to process donations and donors should consult their privacy policies directly for retention and use disclosures.
If you are a healthcare worker requesting a free proning cushion on behalf of a medical facility treating COVID-19 patients, Prone2Help collects, but does not retain for longer than is reasonably necessary, the following information through our third party vendor: name, email address, phone number and the name and address of the medical facility. This information is collected and temporarily retained in order to fulfill requests.
The webservers for Prone2Help are located in a locked, secure environment, and computer systems are maintained in accordance with industry standards to secure information. You should be aware, however, that “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet, and third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
